MLM Leaders – What’s Their Secret? Really?
Do you sometimes wonder if the top leaders in MLM companies are part of some secret society?
Do you wonder if their training leaves out the most important keys to success so that only the “mucky mucks” will continue to make the big money?
What are the strategies they are keeping amongst themselves behind closed doors?
Believe it or not, there is no conspiracy theory when it comes to successful network marketers. The keys to their success are open and available to all, regardless of education, race, gender or creed.
Ya wanna know how they got there?
Here’s the Hard Truth About Leaders
We’ve all heard these things before, but they are true and bear repeating. Here they are:
- First, they treat their business like a business.
They don’t consider their business to be a pursuit of something they joined on an impulse. They treat their business like a million dollar investment, and give it the priority in their life it deserves.
They are entrepreneurs. Plain and simple.
- MLM leaders start at the beginning with a goal in mind. They know precisely where they are going and they have a solid plan to get there.
Their goals are written down and reviewed daily – not with a wishful-thinking mindset, but a lay-down-the-law, make-or-break attitude.
The attitude of every winner.
- And, they’re realistic enough to appreciate that success isn’t going to happen overnight.
They are prepared to work hard and to do whatever is needed and appropriate to achieve success.
Overnight Success? Nope.
Prosperous network marketing businesses take years to build. If you have been given a different impression by someone’s instant-success testimony, it’s a false one.
In general, the top producers had enough experience to recognize when the right opportunity was presented to them. When they saw it, they knew it, and then invested all their efforts into it.
Forget the percentages.
Forget the reversals – just learn from them.
MLM leaders are hard workers. Although they technically work from home and have the freedom to pick and choose when and how hard they will work, a lot of them spend large portions of their lives in hotel rooms, on the road or in the air.
Many entrepreneurs may give the impression that they are not doing much. But, if you were to take a quick walk in their shoes, you would realize even while they are sleeping they’re thinking of ways to better manage their enterprises.
MLM leaders understand sponsoring and recruiting is the only real money-making activity in the network marketing arena. So they spend eighty to ninety percent of their working time focused on that.
Think about it. You only get paid to move product, and the best way to move a lot of product is to have a large amount of active distributors both consuming the company autoship and promoting it.
The truth isn’t very sexy, is it?
Is this how you see yourself in the next 3-5 years?
Do you have this level of commitment?
Do you have what is needed to become an MLM leader?
What about the tenacity to invest your time and effort in spite of the fact significant results may not show up to encourage you for months, and even years?
Are you dedicated enough to commit your time each and every day toward promoting and moving your business forward?
Do you know what your ultimate goals are? Do you have a reasonable timeframe? What about a written plan?
How do you intend to promote the product, service and business venture and train your team members to do the same?
What will you do if the economy takes another dip or if your company shuts their doors? What is your Plan B?
So You Wanna Be a Leader …
The truth of the matter is this: if there’s a secret to becoming a top MLM leader, it’s understanding how to be a business person – the kind of business person who will overcome any barrier to achieve success.
Their main focus is always on promoting and improving their companies. Their daily mode of operation is preparing and presenting their opportunity to as many people as possible.
The best MLM leaders are concerned about the success of their team members, as well. They realize they are only as profitable as the number of people they have helped to become profitable.
So are you a business person, and could you shoulder an MLM Leader’s responsibility?
PS: If you are a determined entrepreneur who just needs a little coaching and accountability to get going on a solid path to success in your MLM or affiliate marketing business, (and we ALL do!!), take advantage of this challenge!
